U.S. internationals Chris Richards and Matt Turner started the contest, with Richards playing a pivotal role late in the match, recording an assist on their third goal that put the game to bed. Leaping in the air off a late set piece in the 81st minute, Richards headed the ball across the box to forward Eddie Nketiah, who tapped home to secure their victory on the day.
Turner, meanwhile, made one save and had 29 touches on the ball.
