Gallagher's future at Chelsea remains uncertain as he is into the final year of his current deal and could be sold to help ease financial concerns. The Blues have been looking at potential replacements and have made Manchester United star Andreas Pereira their top choice, according to . Chelsea have been in touch with his agent Kia Joorabchian and are willing to pay up to £35 million (€41m/$45m) for Pereira, while hoping to offload Gallagher for around £50m (€59m/$64m).

Pereira is already believed to have an agreement with manager Marco Silva to leave Fulham this season after two years with the London club following his move from Manchester United. The Brazilian left Old Trafford after failing to nail down a regular place in the starting XI and has admitted he "didn't feel the love" during his time with the Red Devils.
