The New York Red Bulls have revealed their new away kit for the 2025 MLS season, officially labeled the “Stone Kit.” As per the official statement, the Stone Kit is inspired by the architectural grid pattern that started at Stone Street in Manhattan. Thus it draws its inspiration from the iconic building materials that have shaped New York City’s skyline, offering a unique representation of the club’s deep connection to the city.
"Stone Kit represents more than just a jersey – it's a bridge between New York's historic foundations and our club's vibrant future," said Elisa Padilla, Chief Marketing Officer of the New York Red Bulls. "This project celebrates the diverse tapestry of New York, while delivering a contemporary statement piece that our fans can wear with pride, whether they're in our stands or on the block."

Created by Adidas, the New York Red Bulls' Stone Kit is a celebration of New York City's architectural heritage. Thus the Stone Kit has a light gray base color with subtle variations, creating a textured appearance that mimics the surface of stone. That trend continues in the pattern across the kit, with fine lines and irregular shapes to further echo that. The club’s crest is displayed on the left chest while the primary sponsor, Red Bull, is featured in red lettering across the center.
IMGANWHAT LIES AHEAD FOR NEW YORK RED BULLS?
While it wasn’t the greatest regular MLS season for the New York Red Bulls with a seventh place finish on the Eastern Conference table, they stormed the playoffs all the way to MLS Cup. However, in a hard fought clash against the LA Galaxy, the Red Bulls fell short at the end, losing 2-1 on the night. It did feel like a let down for many fans but hopes are high that the team could potentially replicate that success in 2025.
However, their preseason schedule does point to some kinks in the armor, with the club winning two of their four games so far. They do have two more fixtures left on their calendar before facing FC Cincinnati in the first game of their 2025 MLS season.
